Job Summary:
The Senior Test Engineer leads the creation of complex test strategies and methodologies. They mentor junior engineers, oversee the execution of tests, and analyze data to improve product quality and testing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy
• Design and implement test plans and strategies for software testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine test scope and requirements
• Identify and prioritize high-impact areas for testing
• Monitor and adjust test plans based on project progress and changes
Test Execution
• Conduct manual and automated tests to ensure quality and functionality of software
• Document and report test results and defects
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality
• Create and maintain test cases and test data
Test Automation
• Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts
• Maintain and update existing automated test suites
• Conduct performance and load testing
• Continuously improve and optimize automated testing processes

Quality Assurance
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes
• Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on potential quality issues
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in product quality
Test Tool and Environment Management
• Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies
• Set up and maintain test environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test tools and environments
Reporting and Communication
• Communicate test progress and status to stakeholders
• Prepare and present test reports and metrics to project teams and management
• Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues
Continuous Learning and Improvement
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies
• Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to the growth of the testing team.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Expertise in specialized engineering technologies and systems.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in advanced technical tools.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align documentation processes with business goals.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to identify issues quickly and develop effective solutions.

Salary range:

$72,300.00 - $130,100.00
