The Quality Supervisor for the wind farm will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the implementation of the Quality Plan developed by the EPC/BOP contractors, in alignment with Acciona guidelines and local regulations. This includes overseeing services related to civil works, medium-voltage, high-voltage (substations and overhead lines), and Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) assembly.
The Quality Supervisor will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and the Project QA Coordinator or Head Office Quality team, prioritizing tasks to avoid any disruption to the various construction stages. They will ensure compliance with the checks outlined in the Quality Plan and assess non-conformity costs.
All quality documentation will be managed through the Dash Pivot platform, integrated with SharePoint APMS. The Quality Supervisor is also responsible for reviewing the quality documentation produced and coordinating with contractors to ensure timely submission and review, meeting the deadlines set by the Owner and other key stakeholders.

Job Description

MISSION

Oversee all quality construction activities related to the project, ensuring adherence to the QA Plan, company standards, codes, applicable laws, and client specifications.

FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with and monitor the implementation of the Project QA Plan, inspection and testing plans, and coordination with contractors and subcontractors.

  • Ensure adherence to company quality policies and requirements.

  • Oversee the acceptance of WTG components and other critical equipment based on specifications:

    • Documentation acceptance

    • Visual inspection

    • Handling and transport audits

  • Identify and report defects in line with Acciona’s requirements.

  • Manage the non-conformance process (NCR generation and tracking).

  • Assist in evaluating and reviewing non-conformances and their associated costs.

  • Oversee contractor quality management, including communication, monitoring, and reporting.

  • Monitor inspections and QA management throughout the project.

  • Control QA documents and records related to the project.

  • Witness tests and review results for various works, including civil, medium voltage, and high voltage infrastructure.

  • Ensure active participation in monitoring meetings among project stakeholders.

  • Monitor and support audits in accordance with the QA Plan and transfer guide.

  • Prepare weekly and periodic reports on key issues as required by stakeholders.

  • Manage and execute the transfer process.

  • Implement the Integrated Management System (IMS).

  • Generate a list of outstanding items based on Acciona’s requirements.

  • Support compliance with the project transfer process to O&M and/or the client.

Key Result Areas

  • Provide a weekly summary report on the progress of quality documentation submissions to the project manager and site manager.

  • Ensure that all project team members receive the required Acciona quality procedures and instructions, with support from headquarters.

  • Review and assist the project manager and site manager with quality documentation related to payment milestones achieved by contractors.

  • Support the project manager and site manager in transferring quality documentation to the owner's representative.

Required Skills and Competencies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Qualification / Training: Degree. (Mechanical Engineering, civil or electrical or similar)
  • Complementary training: QA Plan, Non-conformity process, GWO.

Minimum Experience:

  • Required experience: Four years in a similar role.
  • Experience with APMS SharePoint, Microsoft tools, and Excel data management is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
