The Finance Manager is responsible for establishing and developing an Accounting and Finance function for our new US factory located in the state of Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and
allocating accounts, financial statements and manufacturing cost reporting and analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, Inventory and Costing.
- Establish and maintain the company鈥檚 account management procedures in accordance with
- generally accepted accounting principles.
- Maintain accounting/internal controls to sustain financial security; assists in further defining
- department and company-wide accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure financial integrity and compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations.
- Estimate costs of operating plans and then develop budget and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle.
- Provide coaching and career development for the team.
- Participate in other strategic finance, account, and business projects if needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant or similar certification preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP as well as risks and controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP system is an asset.
- Be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands-on approach.
