As VP of Marketing/CMO, you will drive scalable growth, market positioning, and TAM expansion through new GTM opportunities. Reporting to the CRO, you will align marketing strategy with business goals, ensure execution accountability, and optimize marketing operations. Your focus will be on leveraging data and intelligence to inform campaigns, measurement, and overall strategy. This will involve using data and intelligence to inform and action all aspects of your marketing strategy, from campaign planning to measurement across these key functions:
Demand Generation and Marketing Operations
Define new strategies on demand generation, branding, thought leadership, and related metrics on how to create a measurable results driven marketing approach
Scale the demand generation strategy to accelerate qualified MQL’s (marketing qualified leads) to SQLs and increase engagement for website intelligence, funnel targeting and ROI
Utilize demand generation systems - Salesforce CRM, Marketo Marketing Automation System and Analytics, Attribution Models and Demand Generation Tools
Execute the web marketing (SEO, SEM) strategy with the website refresh + direct marketing (e.g. targeting advertising - retargeting, re-marketing, email campaigns)
Work closely with content syndication channels to cast a wider net to drive Bidgely lead generation / demand generation
Data-Driven Marketing through data management, business intelligence through KPIs, Dashboards and Success Metrics to understand the state of the marketing machine and its outcomes
Corporate Marketing
Execute the corporate strategy on all fronts including events driven acquisition marketing, building corporate communications with high touch events & key trade shows, strategic engagements (WSJ, CNBC, Bloomberg, Bidgely Engage Annual Conference), and responsible for ground-up marketing activities for global sales efforts
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
Oversee and manage customer advisory councils / executive forums for building a strong panel of industry experts, influencers and executives to drive the vision and strategic direction on clean energy mandates and how it will become real to realize the net-zero carbon goals, robust grid management and operations, EV / electrification, decarbonized energy efficiency, customer experience and CSATs
Work with Regulatory Affairs team to develop industry groups and marketing strategy to support their efforts
Product Marketing
Overall content marketing strategy and how it connects the dots for the various solutions, use cases, themes, personas and channel of engagement
Oversee and manage industry thought leadership efforts
Produce and manage production of content for various marketing purposes on various channels (email campaigns, web site, webinars, etc.)
Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
Oversee launch of new products into successful initial awareness
Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and customer trends
Manage blogs and social media presence
PR and Marcom
Execute the PR and marcom strategy working with the established PR agency
Building a cohesive PR strategy on customer proof points / case studies, customer references, industry thought leadership, products and solutions
Driving Media outreach with both the industry and business publications and technology journals and strategic media partners
Influencing the key industry groups such as Forbes Technology and Communication Councils to build thought leadership
Engaging with strategic media partners such as CNBC, WSJ, Fortune and Bloomberg to build a strategic path with investors, VCs and private equity
Engaging with Key AI partners in energy and utility industry - EPRI, SEPA and Others to build the Bidgely influence, brand and customer awareness
Required
Minimum 10-15+ years’ experience in enterprise marketing as a full stack marketer, preferably at companies that have gone through a growth stage with revenue in tens of millions of dollars
Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles - preferably as head of marketing with experience executing an enterprise marketing machine beforehand
Experience in producing or managing production of content for various marketing purposes on various channels (email, web site, webinars etc.)
Extensive experience in leveraging myriad of data sources (across different marketing channels) to inform marketing decisions, including (the below list is not exhaustive):
Website analytics
Email marketing data
Event data
Other channels - webinars, content syndication (where applicable)
CRM data
Sales data
Experience in converting marketing data into intelligence and action with data analysis tools to help identify intent signals, data insights and engagement trends. These tools may include (the below list is not exhaustive):

The salary range for this position is $225,000 - $250,000 with up to 30% variable earnings DOE.
In accordance with the California Equal Pay and Pay Transparency laws , the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
