Position Summary

Xylem is looking for a Traveling Lead Field Service Technician to service our water and wastewater treatment equipment at customer sites throughout the word both domestically and internationally.

What your day will look like as a Traveling Lead Field Service Technician

The Traveling Lead Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water and wastewater treatment equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our Municipal division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but candidates with previous experience working in municipal, commercial, or industrial water treatment, plumbing, or with experience working on other industrial or commercial equipment and their corresponding mechanical and electrical components, are especially encouraged to apply.

This position will require travel throughout the USA and internationally dependent on customer needs.

Position Requirements for Traveling Lead Field Service Technician

  • HS diploma or equivalent

  • 5+ years technical experience in municipal, industrial or commercial process water experience, or equivalent experience working with other industrial and commercial equipment and their mechanical and electrical components

  • Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices

  • Ability to work in a high customer facing position

  • Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns

  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 90%

$66,400.00 - $106,200.00
