System Test Engineer

Job Details:
• Title: System Test Engineer
• Educational Qualifications: B.E. / BTech / M.E. / MTech in Electrical / Electronics
• Experience: 4 to 6 years
• Location: Bengaluru IPEC India

Job Description Summary:

In this role, System Test Engineer (SYTE) will perform the System Qualification testing for the Electric Mobility Products like Inverter, Integrated Drive Module (IDMs), Converters etc...

Key Responsibility:

• Responsible for Functional Testing of E-Mobility components – Inverter/Converter/ On-board Charger/Integrated Drive Modules etc...
• Responsible for performing System Qualification Testing
• Understanding the System Requirements and developing Test Cases
• Execution of developed test cases on different test environments (LV HIL/HV HIL/Dyne)
• Review of results and report SW and HW failures to development team and track them to closure.
• Prepare Release Test Summary and Delivery of Test artifacts
• Process adherence against ASPICE Levels.
• Supporting Bench definition/configuration required for Testing

Work Experience/Skills:

   

• Experience in Writing Test specification on Requirements (Doors, Polarian, etc.) as well as Designs.
• Experience of different Type of Test Generation Methodology.
• Experience Executing Tests on different test environments e.g. Dyne/Dynamometer, HV, Bench, HIL.
• Experience in automotive electrification Vehicle Powertrain Testing (preferably on Electric & Hybrid powertrain)
• Experience developing test setups with fixturing and proper interfaces
• Knowledge of high voltage safety standards and procedures
• Knowledge of DSpace/NI/INCA - ETAS/Vector Tool experience (CANape, CANoe etc.).
• Knowledge of automotive communication standards (FlexRay, CAN, SPI, etc.)
• Knowledge of automotive ASPICE Standard, Good to know Functional Safety ISO 26262  & CyberSecuity Standards.
• Able to interpret electrical / electronic schematics
• Preferred Tools knowledge : CANoe with CAPL Scripting, CANape, TraceTronic-ECU Test, NI LABVIEW, NI VERISTAND, TESTSTAND, DIAGRA, ETAS INCA, Control Desk NG, Configuration Desk NG, JIRA, Polarion & Plastic SCM/Bit Bucket
