About the Opportunity:
We are excited to announce that Acciona has been named the preferred contractor to deliver a major wharf infrastructure project at Port Hedland for Pilbara Ports Authority. This marks the first stage in the development of the Lumsden Point General Cargo Facility and Logistics Hub (LCGF), a transformative multi-user facility designed to:
- Enable the export of critical minerals.
- Support the import of renewable energy infrastructure.
- Facilitate the import/export of general cargo.
- Accommodate the import of bulk liquids such as fuel and chemicals.
To help us deliver this project, we are now seeking a suitably experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join the team. In this role you will report project Health and Safety Manager and support the implementation of the Safety and H&S Management System throughout the project.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Cert 4 or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Lead Auditor & ICAM Lead Investigator qualifications are desirable.
- Experience with Incident Investigation (ICAM/Root Cause or equivalent).
- Proven knowledge of a risk and incident system, including leading risk assessments.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in safety and compliance.
