Systems Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  • Promote the adoption of systems engineering principles, tools, and techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement and manage system assurance activities to meet project requirements.
  • Support the development of requirements deliverables, including RAATM and RVTM.
  • Audit and monitor project compliance with requirements and safety assurance standards.
  • Guide and review systems assurance deliverables from design teams and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are verified and validated.
  • Address deficiencies, monitor non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain system configuration and process documentation.

Minimum Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Assurance in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in requirements management tool e.g. DOORs, Jira, Jama, Relatics or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in change control management tools and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
  • Used to implement and work under the principles of AS/NZS ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 standard.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint and PowerBI).
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
