Chief Technical Director - Windhoek, Namibia

In this role, you'll define and execute the company’s technical strategy, steering engineering teams toward the successful delivery of world-class projects. You'll oversee budgets, mitigate risks, and play a key role in securing project financing to ensure long-term success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s technical strategy to align with business objectives and industry trends
• Project Development: Oversee the design, planning, and execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring technical feasibility and economic viability
• Engineering Management: Lead engineering teams in conducting feasibility studies, system designs, and performance optimisation
• Quality Assurance: Establish quality control processes to meet regulatory standards and best practices
• Budget & Risk Management: Oversee project budgets, cost optimization, and risk mitigation strategies
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, partners, and regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals and project financing
• Innovation & Research: Keep up with technological advancements to drive innovation in renewable energy solutions
