CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

· Able to perform non-routine complex tasks (purchase orders, contracts) related to customer process, like invoicing and contract management.

· Ability to document complex tasks into process flows and build process to address unique customer problems

· Assists with training others in their process teams.

· Strong collaboration with internal and external customers

· Understands all aspects of their process and the impacts of their tasks on that process and can apply problem solving skills to address unique customer issues that may require processing outside of traditional, standard applications

· Participates in project-based work in addition to day-to-day responsibilities

· Ability to create orders for quoted jobs or installation with multiple process in SAP of increasing complexity, including projects

· Resolves issues from 3rd party processer of customers’ orders of increasing complexity requiring inputs from multiple stakeholders (operations, sales, AR, buyers)

· May be required to handle contract renewals and contract maintenance or changes of more complex configuration or change of purchase order. Including billing based on meter readings and determining charge based on contractual obligation (EX: water by gallon)

· Account maintenance and system conversions for Water One SD and Long-Term accounts. Works with sales to develop quote for the order upgrade for customer and update the contract and activate the orders in SAP.

· May assist in complex customer master data workflows

· Utilized as a subject matter expert for testing system enhancements or process improvements.

· May assist with special permitting needs for customer site visits and projects

· Heavy collaboration with buyers, warehouses and branches in maintaining appropriate inventory, generates purchase orders

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

· High school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of applicable work experience OR Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable work experience

2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing/guidance/leadership

• Able to executive tasks with high levels of autonomy; limited guidance required for complex tasks

• Able to collaborate with other disciplines

• Ability to understand concepts in execution, broader organizational impact, and strong organization skills;

• Understanding of general business concepts

• Strong communication skills

• Solid User of standard Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong SAP fluency in relevant area of expertise (e.g. SD, CS, CM module)

• Strong understanding of typical IT business tools; adapt at learning new programs quickly (e.g. homegrown IT solutions but also new cutting-edge tools like Data Analytics

• Fluency in a Field Service and CRM application like (MS Field Service or MS CRM)

Salary range:

$55,300.00 - $88,500.00
