We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team, leading initiatives centered around the Order to Delivery phase of the customer journey, with particular emphasis on Transaction and Order Operations. This role involves managing backend operational improvements that directly impact the customer experience from order placement to delivery and beyond. The Project Manager, Sales Operations and Controls will collaborate closely with Sales Operations Managers and IT Product Managers to ensure a seamless and efficient customer journey while prioritizing backend operational enhancements and resolving any related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of analytics and reporting for Sales Operations and Controls.
- Maintain vehicle sales fee, discount, and incentive database.
- Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to roll out new fees and discounts.
- Handle all functions of User Acceptance Testing for Sales Operations and Controls team.
- Maintain vehicle sales document template database.
- Enhance vehicle sales document templates working alongside Lucid Legal team.
- Responsible for intake and initial troubleshooting of system issues as reported by the Transaction Operations and Order Operations team.
- Work with SMEs and Program Management to assist in gathering requirements for enhancements to sales system tools, as it relates to transaction and vehicle registration operations.
- Maintain a knowledge base of Transaction Operations policies, procedures, and personnel maps.
- Enhance the knowledge base by documenting new Transaction Operations policies and procedures.
- Work closely with Program Manager and Systems teams to define business requirements for Lucid’s systems, focusing heavily on process automation.
- Provide operational support to business partners for ad-hoc initiatives.
- Identify discrepancies and bottlenecks to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide status updates and project updates to internal and external stakeholders alike
Qualifications
- Familiarity with vehicle sales and transaction operations, specifically pertaining to DMV/Contract related operations.
- Strong analytical, data driven skills
- Problem-solving skills for system issue troubleshooting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with SMEs and Program Management teams.
- Passion for the customer experience, and an understanding of how operational efficiencies impact said experience
- Ability to partner cross-functionally to deliver major initiatives, all while relentlessly prioritizing based on need
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and different vehicle registration databases.
- Comfort presenting at the Senior Manager level: making recommendations and justifying your decisions.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, and an ability to create in an undefined, unestablished environment.
- Strong presentation skills, ability to present cross functionally and to executives
- Self-starter mentality and comfort working in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 5+ years in automotive operations and transactional order management.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. Base Pay Range (Annual)
$90,000—$100,000 USD
