Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

 

Role accountabilities include:

 

  • Product ownership and strategy, where appropriate, over existing and future supply chain and enterprise asset management technology solutions, including rationalization of requirements within current and future applications. Deliver rationalized enhancements in existing platforms as deemed necessary.
  • Support and lead, where appropriate, through full ERP implementation cycle from design to deployment, recommending standardized solutions and ensuring appropriate stakeholder buy-in and signoff.  Key focus on preparing for post go-live support structure and readiness. 
  • Support configuration and changes to ERP post go-live.  Support key reports, integrations, and other technical objects, as needed.  Lead and support the recurring ERP upgrades, ensuring compliance, accuracy and readiness for the upgrade
  • Provide training to the business and technical teams in preparation for and post go-live.  Lead and/or support the training material development and deployment, ensuring a sustainable approach for post go-live readiness
  • Develop and sustain operational readiness and rigor – support structure, operational KPI’s and end-user engagement and support
  • Lead, guide and support functional and contractor teams through SDLC, when appropriate for new EAM or Supply Chain application development to support business needs
  • Provide regular status updates to the organization, risk identification & mitigation, and assist in developing and delivering change management & user training programs.
  • Plan and implement operational support structure to provide day-to-day user support, recurring update & enhancement management, master data management, reporting & analytics support, integration management, system health KPI tracking, etc.

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required in related field (Masters preferred or equivalent years of experience required) such as Business Management, Finance, Information Systems or related, significant work experience.
  • Candidate must have:
    • Minimum of 5 years of operations related experience (Parts, Field Services, Asset Management, Supply Chain).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading or managing ERP operations for related areas
    • Oracle ERP or other EAM/ERP experience, with a focus on sustaining operations (incident management, incident resolution, upgrades, testing, etc)
  • Demonstrated experience in the following:
    • Evaluating/troubleshooting system bugs, defects & evaluating solution
    • Process design and decomposition to evaluate relative to system outcomes
    • Oracle Supply Chain and Field Service or similar ERP/EAM experience, with understanding of SaaS solutions and demonstrated experience in the following areas:  system configuration, interface/integration, setup, testing & deployment
  • At least 5 years of experience managing/directly and indirectly leading smaller teams or a mixture of direct report and consultants/contractors
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands on experience of the SDLC process, with preferred experience across multiple technologies.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and communication abilities, including:
    • Translating requirements and facilitating communications between business partners, technical and non-technical team members, both verbally and visually.
    • Managing new requirements & issues (bugs or unexpected outcomes), evaluating & implementing solutions and outcomes to mitigate or resolve the issue
    • Strong communications skills, both technical and functional
    • Experience in leading change initiatives through process- and metrics-based leadership.
    • Ability to collaborate and drive common understanding & consensus among stakeholders, occasionally in high pressure situations.
  • Managing direct reports and consultants
  • Ability to rationalize and recommend optimal combination(s) of technology applications and architecture based on enterprise business needs.
  • Expertise in a broad range of technologies, such as:
    • Microsoft Office suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Cloud Architectures – such as Azure, AWS, OCI
    • Oracle ERP, SCM, EPM experience desired – preferred experience in Oracle SaaS solutions
    • Preferred experience in various programming languages, middleware and database technologies
    • Data management, Databases, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses
    • System integration
    • Field Connectivity Solutions
    • Business Process Automation - RPA, BPM, Process Mining
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience building / leading successful Change management programs and sustaining change, with a focus on the field/supply chain operations. 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in business-friendly language.
  • Multi-cultural and multi-regional experience is highly preferred.
  • Renewable energy industry experience is desirable.
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 10-20% of time.

The expected starting pay range for this role is $103,000 USD - $139,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, family care benefits, employee assistance program, paid time off and bonding leave, paid holidays, 401(k)/RRSP retirement savings plan with employer contribution, and employee referral bonuses.
