Lead and manage the geotechnical, coastal, and structural engineering aspects of onshore LNG terminal and coastal/offshore/ LNG jetty projects.
Perform FEED design and analysis of foundations (e.g., piles, spread footings, caissons), retaining structures, coastal protection works (e.g., seawalls, breakwaters), and jetty structures (e.g., wharves, berthing dolphins), plus settlement calculations.
Review site investigations, geotechnical surveys, and coastal data collection to inform design decisions.
Conduct FEED design for soil improvement design and land reclamation studies.
Develop and review geotechnical, coastal, and structural engineering reports, calculations, and drawings.
Utilize numerical software such as Allpile, STAADPRO, SACS, or other related software for advanced analysis and design.
Ensure compliance with relevant local and international codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards, American Standards, Local Standards).
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including civil & structure, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as project managers and clients.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Participate in project meetings, present technical findings, and contribute to problem-solving.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of all engineering deliverables.
Keep abreast of the latest advancements in geotechnical, coastal, and structural engineering practices and technologies.
