Energy Storage Manager (f/m/d)

Key activities that you will be managing:

• Leading energy storage projects in all stages from initiation through permitting, design, procurement, planning and business case validation to investment decision, i.e. to status construction-ready
• Contributing to the further development and implementation of a utility-scale battery storage strategy in Germany – considering both stand-alone BESS projects and co-located with solar PV or wind
• Having full responsibility for management of project budgets, programs, and schedules from early-stage development to point of construction
• Engaging with legal, land, compliance, health and safety, commercial, grid connection and engineering colleagues to integrate these specialisms in your projects
• Managing external service providers with purchase orders and contracts including planning consultants, land agents, and technical experts
• Supporting the projects through construction stage and in operation
• Regular reporting on your project progress to the team and management
• Stakeholder management (internal and external) especially landowners, agents and local community
