The opportunity
We are looking for an engaged Production supervisor with leadership skills for Piteå. In the role of Production supervisor, you will have the chance to lead the operational work within the designated production section where varied tasks fill your everyday life. Important parts of the work include continuous improvement, deviation management, operational control, contributing to employee development, ensuring the work environment, and following up on the company's prioritized workflow with Safety, Quality, Delivery Precision, and Productivity.
How you’ll make an impact
- Leading the production team to ensure efficiency and quality in the manufacturing process.
- Implementing LEAN principles for continuous improvement of production processes.
- Managing team development and conflicts to promote a positive work environment.
- Creating conditions and driving the work for continuous development of employees.
- Ensuring and following up on the work of a good work environment, both from a physical and psychological perspective.
- Contributing to ensuring the production line has the right conditions to follow the company's prioritized workflow (Safety, Quality, Delivery Precision, Productivity).
Your background
- Minimum completed high school education.
- Education or experience in leadership, work environment, and small project management within the manufacturing industry.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage groups and conflicts constructively.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of efficient production and logistics, including LEAN methodology and the ability to report deviations according to current instructions.
- Previous experience with digital tools such as the Office suite, PowerBI, and ERP systems to optimize the production flow.
