We are currently recruiting for an Assistant with experience in bridges and/or structures design, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for a junior profile that wants to boost his/her professional technical career on structural engineering.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Works on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC, with work being reviewed by senior or experienced engineers.
Delivers complex structural drawings in 2D and 3D (including BIM) along different stages of the design development.
Can set standards and procedures for CAD and BIM works.
Executes calculations under designer’s supervision.
Assigns and coordinates tasks to other technical or administrative staff, mainly related to drafting or structural modelling.
May train less experienced staff in preparation of drawing and graphic elements.
