As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting our employees and leadership team by executing core HR functions that enhance our people strategy and ensure compliance with HR policies and best practices. This role requires a proactive and adaptable HR professional who can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will support employee onboarding, new employee orientation, organizational strategy, compliance, policy development, and employee relations, while also assisting with recruiting activities (candidate sourcing, greeting candidates, and scheduling interviews) as needed.

Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding & New Hire Orientation: Lead onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless transition for new employees, including orientation sessions and integration into company culture.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted resource, addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and ensuring fair, consistent resolutions in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- People & Organizational Strategy: Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives, enhance employee engagement, and drive high performance.
- Compliance & Policy Development: Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, develop and update HR policies, and provide guidance on workplace compliance issues.
- Performance Management: Support managers and employees by providing guidance on performance expectations, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- HR Systems & Data Analytics: Utilize HR data to track workforce trends, analyze key HR metrics, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Recruiting Support (as needed): Assist with candidate sourcing, greet candidates during interviews, and coordinate interview scheduling to ensure a seamless hiring process.
- Culture & Engagement Initiatives: Lead and support initiatives to promote employee engagement, inclusion, and a positive work environment.
- HR Program Execution: Support the implementation of key HR programs, including employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion efforts, and leadership development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including direct employee relations, policy development, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational compliance.
- Experience managing onboarding and new hire orientation programs.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Passion for building culture and fostering a positive employee experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum
Desired
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or high-tech industries.
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- Experience supporting hourly and non-exempt workforce populations.
- Prior experience or willingness to assist with recruiting activities as needed.
