Responsibilities:

  • Experienced developing corporate R.E site/building strategies supported by construction and building solutions.
  • Experienced in construction cost estimation, costs controlling, value engineering and efficient construction project management delivering projects; on schedule, within budget, meeting quality requirements.
  • Development and implementation of regional building utilization strategies identifying potential opportunities for development, refurbishments, building solutions utilizing a comprehensive cost benefit analysis optimizing synergies for the BG’s operational building requirements.
  • Development and implementation of regional construction standards, facilities maintenance procedures and safety procedures aligned with global standards.
  • Familiarity working with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) construction documents, construction implementation and construction monitoring tools, experience managing projects in accordance with OSHA standards for construction safety ensuring a continuous focus on contractor, vendor, visitor and employee safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in General Business, Finance, Economics, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Facility Management or Engineering with emphasis in Construction Management. Master’s degree (preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in the field of corporate real estate, client relationship management or construction management.
  • Experience as licensed real estate broker, agent, builder, general contractor or appraiser is a plus.
  • Demonstrates experience of negotiation skills
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to calculate complex deal forecast and prepares budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation and presentation of reports.
  • Familiar with architectural, design, building engineering and other building concepts including general building design standards
  • Evaluate business risks and demonstrate general legal judgment and exhibit initiative and resourcefulness with internal clients.
  • Basic knowledge of US. building codes, permitting, construction review and jurisdictional building permit review process for site/building planning review and approvals.
