Construction Planner/ Quantity/ Cost Engineer
Key Qualifications:
Registered Civil Engineer; Master’s or Doctoral Degree in related field is an added advantage.
Experience as Construction Planning/ Quantity/Cost Engineer or higher capacity in the feasibility study of preferably one (1) road/bridge project.
Attendance to trainings relevant to the assignment or position.
Experience of three (3) years in consulting services of any infrastructure projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Survey and investigation of the present condition of materials supply system, availability of construction machines/ equipment and accessibility to the project sites and collection of data of similar construction works in the past.
Examination and analysis of the rate of progress concerning manpower and equipment.
Preparation of construction methods for work items.
Preparation of construction sequence over the project duration.
Survey and investigation of market condition including prices materials, depreciation/operation cost of construction machines and equipment, wages and taxes and duties.
Assistance in the preparation of technical specifications.
Establishment of pay items anticipated in the construction works.
Preparation of cost estimates.
Perform other duties and responsibilities that will be required by the Employer and ADB.
