We鈥檙e doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

  Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling all preventative/corrective maintenance activities.  The successful candidate will apply technical and maintenance experience to reduce the cost of maintenance and improve service to the Operations team.  This role will work closely with the maintenance staff, contractors, and outside vendors to ensure the highest level of equipment uptime.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with Engineering and Operations/Maintenance leadership to ensure equipment is maintained at the highest level.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to schedule daily/weekly maintenance tasks.
  • Manage the computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Identify labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements for maintenance work orders.
  • Create job plan packages that include step by step written instructions including parts, tools, permits needed to complete the maintenance task.
  • Continuously adjust maintenance schedule to account for emergency work.
  • Oversee delivery of parts delivered onsite (coordinate with vendors and freight).
  • Amend routine maintenance task based on feedback from trades (red penning).
  • Communicate job plan details to maintenance supervisor and/or technicians prior to start of work.

Desired Qualifications:

  • AS/BS Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Technology is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation, or technical military experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Proficient with writing reports, business correspondence, and standard work procedures.
  • Read/interrupt prints, drawings, and other technical publications.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiar with troubleshooting/repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Must be personable and able to network with outside suppliers and vendors to ensure parts, labor, and materials are available on time at reasonable cost.
  • Ability to manage workload while contributing to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • CMRP (certified maintenance reliability professional) certification desirable.
