Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is a member of the Human Resources Team and is therefore expected to adhere to the strictest form of confidentiality, professionalism, and conduct. This position is responsible for the administration of a large variety of key HR functions, as defined below. The HR Generalist will work in conjunction with the Human Resources team; dividing and changing duties as is necessary from time to time. The focus of this position is on HR Planning with Management, recruiting and on-boarding new employees, employee relations, and tracking transfers or promotions.

Task and Responsibilities

  • Acts as first point of contact for all generalized HR questions.
  • Assists managers and staff members with a variety of HR topics, as needed.
  • Supports managers with their human resource planning needs.
  • Assesses the departments needs based on existing duties and roles, feasibility determinations, org chart/cost center planning, developing and updating job descriptions.
  • Serves as the point of contact for all Recruiting Portal inquiries, support, and implementation needs including assisting managers with recruiting needs such as seeking out third party recruiters and working with recruiting companies to acquire quality candidates.
  • Handles the entire on-boarding life cycle of new employees from contacting and scheduling candidates for interviews, organizing travel when necessary, drafting offers, as well as, new hire orientation.
  • Organizes and maintains New Hire Orientation Programs that fits the needs of the company as well as the needs of the department.
  • Ensures all new hires receive a uniform new hire experience with general company training as well as specialized training to meet the department鈥檚 particular needs.
  • Takes responsibility for properly documenting all transfers and promotions. This includes drafting transfer letters, ensuring training is scheduled, updating the org chart, and properly recording effective dates of salary adjustments.
  • Acts as the liaison between the temporary worker and the temporary agencies.
  • Supports the management of companywide events, their budgets, communication with vendors, supervision of the event, as well as communications to managers and staff about relevant event information.
  • Assists with supporting company cultural initiatives that promote and encourage employee commitment and loyalty
  • Assist with payroll duties
  • Adheres to the mission of the Fronius Way
  • All other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the HR field with focus on recruiting.
  • Ability to keep sensitive information and adhere to the utmost standards of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely.
  • Team oriented, but with ability to work alone.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HCM Software preferable Workday.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet goals and objectives.
  • Ability to make formal and informal presentations to general groups and management Team.
  • Possess a valid Passport or has the ability to obtain and pay for a valid Passport.
  • Limited Travel

  • Employees will perform duties in an office environment and a field setting.
  • Employees will be occasionally exposed to tripping hazards.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to medium.
