Your Opportunity

As the Accounts Payable & Receivables Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day accounting transactions of our fast-paced, visionary company. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with month-end close activities.

In this role, your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills will help you manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You will support the accounting team by ensuring the integrity of financial data, contributing to efficient operations, and assisting with reporting as needed. Your Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• You will process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals are in place;
• You will manage accounts payable, including issuing payments and tracking due dates and deadlines;
• You will generate and send customer invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances; and,
• You will process employee expense reports and reimbursements in a timely manner and in consideration of payroll deadlines.

Financial Recordkeeping & Reporting

• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system;
• You will record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses;
• You will reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy;
• You will assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations; and,
• You will maintain organized records to support company audits and financial reviews.

Compliance & Process Improvement

• You will identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies.

What You Offer

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• University graduate with a strong academic record.
• 2+ years' previous work experience in a related field.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, accounts payable & receivable processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of data with accuracy.
• Proficient in using accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and approach work with a positive attitude.
