The Corporate Security Sr. Analyst for the US is responsible for assisting the US Corporate Security Lead in the overall Security program and security functions in the designated Business Units and is responsible for the security and safety of employees, and the protection of company assets and interests. Strategically develops and directs policies, guidelines and programs to promote a secure and safe work environment. Responsible for strategic planning, security operations management and crisis management activities to include business continuity. This role is also responsible for leading confidential investigations and acting as liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in developing security guidelines and/or policies for the company relative to employee security, safety, building access, and physical security. Routinely audits practices to ensure compliance. Responsible for all Security programs and plans in the US.

  • Strategically reviews, establishes and implements operational procedures to protect employees and property from any security threat (such as bomb threats, active shooter etc.). Participates in a multi-discipline Workplace Violence prevention team, which is charged with the early and safe resolution of threatening or potentially violent situations.

  • Conducts due diligence on third parties and sensitive investigations relating to employee misconduct, theft, property damage, fraud and other issues involving standards of business conduct. Works closely with P&O and Business Unit representatives to resolve such incidents in a timely manner. Confers with representatives of local, state or federal agencies to ensure cooperation and coordination of activities with law enforcement. 

  • Works closely with Security Staff, all corporate areas and business departments throughout the organization as appropriate to minimize risk to the company. Accountable for the maintenance and continuous development of a network of security professionals to ensure access to industry best practices and security resources.

  • Assists in any function related to travel tracker and VIP/executive protection.

  • Responsible for assisting in the supervision of the contract guard force in the US.

  • Responsible for Business Continuity Plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher in Criminal Justice or related field.

  • 10 + years of previous security or law enforcement experience, experience working in a corporate setting or in an internal security department or equivalent environment.

  • Forward looking, strategic leader that works well within a fast paced, dynamic, multi-cultural business environment. Comfortable working with all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.

  • Ability to negotiate compromises between others.

  • Proven discretionary judgment with ability to resolve both routine and non-routine issues.

  • Ability to work in a team-based environment with other business professionals.

  • Experienced in strategic planning, budget process and resource allocation.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task within a rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to: establish and cultivate professional relationships; analyze both data and situations for appropriate response; positively affect organizational dynamics; and manage special projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong investigative and case management skills.

  • Knowledge of business continuity and crisis management planning and procedures.

  • Knowledge of information security planning measures.

  • Federal law enforcement, intelligence, or military experience.

  • Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CFE, etc.

  • Spanish language proficiency.
