Akuo Energy is looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on its new Wind farm projects in Serbia.

 

The Site Manager is in charge of the overall follow up of the day-to-day activities on site and supervises contractors. He/She reports to the Project Execution Manager on HSE, E&S, contractual issues and main risks associated with construction and also works with the Project Manager who is in charge of the contractual, schedule, budget issues. The Site Manager is the permanent representative of AKUO ENERGY on site and manage the site supervision teams.

 

The mission position will be located in Serbia first in Belgrade to support the development completion of the project and then on the construction site located in Pacevo municipality, 30km East from Belgrade.

 

Before Start of Site Works (in Belgrade Office):

 

Assistance to the Project Developer to complete Project Permitting

  • Coordinate designing process and preparing documentation during project development

Coordinate local stakeholders and local authorities until final issuance of the pending building permits

Assistance to the Contracting team to setup Construction Contracts

  • Contribute to Contracting of the cBOP, eBOP and Site Supervision Scopes
  • Evaluation and clarification of offers received, contribution to the development with the preferred bidder of the Contractual terms and annexes especially related to Time Schedule, Quality and HSE aspects

 

After Start of Site Works (on Site):

 

Good execution on site

  • Avoid incidents/accidents
  • Minimize disturbance generates by works
  • Meet schedule milestones
  • Control risks
  • Avoid claim
  • Transfer plan with good quality

 

Site Management

  • Represent AKE on site: respect values, enforce AKE policies on site, consolidate relationships with external local stakeholders
  • First entry point for contractors on site for day-to-day activities as the Client representative on site.
  • Organize weekly coordination meetings
  • Take care about site documentation and works to be in accordance with law, standards and positive practice

 

Supervision of Site Activities

  • Control conformity of schedule with reality on site
  • Organize and control contractual quality requirements implementation and contractors’ Quality Control plan
  • Manage technical third parties and quality controllers
  • Notify non-Conformance to Contractors
  • Organize and control supervise contractors for Quality, HSE, E&S Documentation and coordination with others.
  • Manage site supervisors (HSE, E&S, civil, electrical, mechanical…) in charge of the good completion of the project.
  • Organize implementation of the mitigation measures to control the project risks

 

Reporting

  • Issue a monthly report to the Project Coordinator with status of Progress, Schedule, Budget and Overcosts
  • Issue internal daily and weekly reports and weekly construction meetings MOM
  • Participate in the creation of the risk management
