Responsibilities:

  • Support Materials Compliance Management program in the areas of TSCA and corresponding international counterparts.  
  • Screen Raw materials for Kosher/Halal/NSF Compliance 
  • Evaluates raw materials, plant and lab chemicals and finished products for employee exposure, proper storage, US Customs requirements, and shipping requirements. 
  • Develops and maintains MSDSs and labels. Generate SDS for Kluber, Summit, or Private Label brands. 
  • Maintains the Approved Products List using ERP/SAP system. 
  • Ensure compliance with all international trade laws, tariffs, and regulations, including hazardous material handling, customs clearance, and environmental guidelines. 
  • Maintain necessary trade documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and export declarations. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for international trade activities. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering, International Trade, or related field 

  • Strong SAP knowledge within a manufacturing environment   

  • Solid experience with TSCA, chemical inventory, regulation restrictions 

  • Solid experience with MSDS/SDS, labelling (ex.: GLM+/SAP) 

  • Thorough knowledge of EPA, DOT, OSHA and TCEQ regulatory requirements  

  • At least 3+ years of experience in foreign trade with a focus on chemicals or related industries. 

  • Understanding of international trade regulations, including Incoterms, export controls, and customs compliance.
