Mission Statement

  • Work closely with packaging team to implement standard Packaging. Achieved daily Packaging & Dispatch plan as per allocated workload and plan.

  • Maintain Hitachi Safety and Quality standard during assembly, Ensure compliance of safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Train, guide and evaluate packaging employees, Independently able to handle entire Packaging and logistics process.

  • Coordination with cross functional team for timely resolution of any Packaging issues as well as implement the best practices.

  • Loading & container stuffing as per the dispatch plan.

Your Responsibilities

  • The candidate for this position should have experience in the manufacturing / Power industry and having strong understanding of Store management concepts.

  • Ensures that Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources

  • Independently able to handle entire Packaging and logistics process.

  • Manages or performs work associated with implementation of improvements to Packaging / logistics processes.

  • Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.

  • Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by entire team.

  • Coordination with cross functional team for timely resolution of any Packaging issues as well as implement the best practices.

  • Responsible for 5S, safety for the packaging and dispatch function.

  • Review and implement ABRA & SOP for Stores & Packaging Function.

  • Supervise the activities of packaging team.

  • Aware about productivity improvement tools .Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily packaging operations.

  • Train, guide and evaluate packaging employees.

  • Ensure the implementation of packaging safety regulations. Implement process improvements to increase packaging efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain packaging production schedules to ensure we meet customer demands.

Your Background

  • A Diploma in Mechanical /electrical engineering with first class (above 60%).

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of professional work experience in Packaging & Dispatch.

  • Working knowledge of SAP.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required .
