The Application Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of enterprise applications to ensure their availability, performance, and usability. This role involves collaborating with business units and working closely with other team members to optimize application functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead application support, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Develop and implement the best practices, processes, and standards for application support and incident management.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand application needs and prioritize enhancements.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical application issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including issue resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users.
  • Analyze support trends to identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and IT governance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or customer service.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing support teams and service operations.
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications such as P21 and Workday.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
