What will you do in this role? 

  • Screening customers, resellers and vendors to ensure ICEYE’s third party risk management and compliance with ICEYE’s licensing obligations
  • Preparing corporate documentation to support Sales and other business teams with commercial bids and proposals
  • Managing corporate law matters at ICEYE subsidiaries globally, such as drafting resolutions, coordinating with local counsel, and managing corporate files
  • Addressing KYC and other information requests and advising other teams on such requests
  • Driving the implementation of the company’s sanctions, anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance programs through trainings and process development
  • Drafting of agreements and administrative legal documents based on templates
  • Managing statutory reporting in areas of responsibility of the Legal department, such as transparency register
  • Acting as the point of contact for IT tools used by the Legal department, such as contracts database, screening platforms, and e-learning suite

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, legal secretary or an administrative assistant (preferably in professional services, a law firm or in an in- house legal department)
  • Excellent administration and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and professional discretion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Finnish
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Understanding of and experience in working internationally and with multiple nationalities and cultures
  • A can-do and positive attitude with a willingness to get involved whether the task is big or small
  • Flexibility around working hours

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills: 

  • BA or BSc in a Legal or Business related field
  • It would be beneficial if you had experience working within Corporate Finance Legal processes

  • Base salary range for this position is 4500-4900 EUR  per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
