Electric Power Engineers is seeking a detail-oriented and creatively driven Communications Associate to join our growing Marketing & Communications team. This role is ideal for a communications professional with strong visual design skills, a passion for brand storytelling, and hands-on experience managing content calendars, social media channels, and internal newsletters. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is adept at juggling multiple priorities
Communications Team Collaboration
Design and produce compelling visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and PowerPoint for internal and external use—including presentations, social media graphics, signage, and branded collateral.
Plan, draft, schedule, and monitor posts for social media platforms, aligning with brand tone and goals.
Manage and work to a multi-channel content calendar to ensure timely, relevant messaging.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop internal newsletter content that informs and engages employees across the organization.
Develop presentations that ensure visual clarity, brand alignment, and effective storytelling.
Ensure all communication and design outputs align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across formats.
Assist with internal communications campaigns, including drafting copy, creating layouts, and distributing content across channels.
Support the execution of strategic communication plans that promote EPE’s brand, culture, and thought leadership.
Support digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, basic analytics reporting, and light CMS work.
Help maintain and organize shared team assets and documentation.
Perform general administrative tasks in support of the broader Marketing & Communications team.
Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:
Requirements
3 plus years of experience in a marketing operations, corporate communications, or design-focused role.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong visual design instincts and attention to detail, with a portfolio of polished, professional work.
Experience with social media management tools and best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency.
Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Bonus points for experience creating multimedia content.

Location: This position will be located in the Austin Corporate office
Travel: Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less)
