Job Description
As the Architecture Leader for China, you will develop and lead a team of technical and sector specialists, to execute the Architecture strategic plan focusing on the development of new and existing client relationships as well as the winning and successful delivery of projects across the region.
Actively collaborate with AECOM’s overall Architecture practice growth and key client strategy for the region integrating the four core practice lines: Project Management & Cost Consulting (PMCM); Urbanism & Planning (U&P), Architecture and Building Engineering.

clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and lead key pursuits, develop successful win strategies and closes the largest, most complicated and iconic projects.
- Lead client relationship/business development activities through early interaction, “scope of work” development, interviews, and on-going client maintenance interface
- Develop and lead key account strategy to achieve aggressive growth goals.
- Responsible for developing market sector intelligence including industry assessment, trends and key markets and client opportunities for investment and work winning.
- Work with practice leaders to develop AECOM’s competitive positioning strategy.
- Participates in creating new service offerings with the global sector team.
- Provide leadership to business development and key client account, managers in developing win strategies, go-no-go plans and closing sales.
- Develop and manage marketing plans and budgets.
- Manage the business development pipeline including generating enough leads to achieve annual wins targets and long term growth goals.
- Ensure that projects are delivered within the client budget and schedule;
- Ensure that projects are delivered with the agreed fee and deliver the stated profit.
- Interface with clients on schedules, meetings and issues (manage client expectations).
- Work with design team members to develop sustainable engineering solutions in support of the design concept.
- Advise senior management of the project status on a regular basis.
- Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative actions.
