Senior Consultant Climate strategies and sustainability management - AFRY Management Consulting

About the role

Sustainability Consulting is further strengthening its position in the European and global market. As such, we are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Sustainability Consulting team in Berlin, to work globally in an international team and in the German market.

In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to make your contribution to the sustainability transformation within companies, and diving deep into topics that are changing the corporate sustainability landscape and business strategy. You will be able to utilize AFRY’s position as a driving force of the energy transition and decarbonizing industries.

Your responsibilities

Though located in Berlin, you will be part of an international team of Consultants collaborating across borders to achieve best solutions for our clients. Your daily tasks as a Senior Consultant will include: 

• Client and project management
• Involvement in refining our decarbonization service offering
• Representation of AFRY at events and membership platform (e.g. fairs, econsense Kompetenzprogramm Mittelstand)
• Support in the development and implementation of decarbonization/net zero strategies for clients in accordance with the requirements of SBTi, ISO14068 and other methodological approaches
• Emissions accounting based on GHG protocol, CCF/PCF taking into account Scope 1, 2 & 3 calculations
• Support with climate reporting according to CSRD, CDP, etc.
