Laboratory Technician

General Description:  Under general supervision is responsible for performing a variety of routine laboratory tests in support customer.

Duties and Responsibilities:   The Harsco Lab Technician is responsible for testing and verifying incoming stainless-steel scrap at our facility. The Lab Technician will also assist in the inspection of incoming stainless steel scrap metal.

• Performing product testing using a Spectrometer
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining of all lab supplies and equipment
• Assisting with the upkeep of the Spectrometer and other lab equipment
• Assisting to maintain all test records
• Perform product testing using a Niton Gun
• Other duties, as necessary
