Job Summary: The SRI Specialist is a highly organized and detail oriented individual that is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipping, and assisting in receiving operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate should be versatile, able to handle multiple task, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. This role involves monitoring inventory transactions, resolving discrepancies, implementing process improvements, and supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with ERP and WMS systems, and a keen eye for detail to drive accuracy and operational efficiency. This position will involve a balance of inventory management duties as well as active participation in shipping and receiving task.

 

Responsibilities: 

•    Maintain the integrity of inventory data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and real time visibility for decision making.
•    Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
•    Process inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
•    Assist with the shipping process, including packing, labeling, and scheduling shipments.
•    Ensure timely and efficient receiving of incoming packages; inspecting shipments for accuracy and quality.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehousing, and production, to streamline workflows and optimize stock levels.
•    Support ERP inventory module functions, including data entry, troubleshooting, and reporting.
•    5+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, audit compliance, and government contract requirements.
•    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal audits, and best practices in shipping/receiving and inventory management.
•    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and overall supply chain efficiency.
•    Assist in order fulfillment and handle returns as needed.
•    Train end users on inventory processes, ERP system functionalities, and shipping/receiving processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of inventory best practices, including FIFO, cycle counting, and demand forecasting.
  • Hands on experience with ERP/ WMS systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage large volumes of data.
  • Effective communication skills to work cross-functionally with different teams and departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools for inventory tracking and reporting.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

•    Certification in inventory management or ERP systems (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, or ERP-specific training).
•    Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other process improvement frameworks.
•    Knowledge of ITAR, FAR, DFARS, and other government contract requirements related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
•    Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. 
For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:
$24$33 USD
