Your Role & Mission - We are looking for a highly energetic and operationally strong Chief of Staff to work closely with one of our Co-Founders. You will act as a strategic partner, improving efficiency, alignment, and performance and supporting key business initiatives.

This is a high-impact role requiring autonomy, strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a relentless drive to deliver results. With rapid growth, you will gain exposure to strategic decision-making, work closely with senior leadership, and drive cross-functional projects in a fast-paced startup environment.

Your tasks

• Be a sparring partner for C-levels in business operations and strategy topics and set and execute strategic initiatives, company priorities, and investor reporting

• Support and coordinate investors and fundraising efforts, managing timelines, preparing materials, and steering the process alongside Co-Founders and investors

• Accelerate organizational development and company growth from internal reporting and operating models to team structures and decision-making processes

• Prepare strategic materials to support board presentations, investor updates, executive presentations, and internal communication initiatives that align and inspire

• Develop dashboards and reports to track performance metrics and identify key data insights from different departments to provide actionable recommendations

• Optimize internal workflows and decision-making frameworks to increase efficiency and scalability

• Manage and execute high-impact, cross-functional initiatives working closely with top management to ensure alignment, clarity, and velocity across teams

• Identify bottlenecks in company processes and work to resolve them proactively in alignment with company goals

• Execute a diverse range of priorities and problems, managing critical projects and key initiatives end to end

Your profile

• Previous experience in management consulting, investment banking, operations, strategy, or a similar role in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment

• Experience working with Founders or C-level executives and driving strategic initiatives managing different priorities and deadlines

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured, solution-oriented mindset and ability to synthesize and communicate complex information

• High ownership and ambition, you know what it takes to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done

• Great storytelling and communication abilities, including outstanding presentation skills for both internal and external audiences

• Advanced Excel and data analysis proficiency to support data preparation, validation, and reporting

• Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools. Ideally, you have already worked with CRM systems (we use Salesforce)

• A collaborative team player, comfortable working across distributed and cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment

• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken. German skills are a great plus!

• A strong work ethic and performance-driven mindset. You set a high bar for yourself and others

• Passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions, and decarbonization management in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and vision
