Who you are 

As the VP Operations EMEA you are responsible for end to end operations for all current European locations, managing all resources of the organization and using them to develop a strategic plan to ensure achievement of goals in operational programs. Working closely with the Finance Team you will strategize on maximizing profitability while optimizing the customer experience. As Infarm grows the regional responsibilities may be adjusted.

Responsibilities 

  • Establish and manage multi regional Infarm operations in Europe, manage and oversee the development; maximization of existing contracts, capacity planning, and production KPIs 
  • Working in conjunction with the senior Finance Team, responsible for financial performance of Infarm hubs, including cost optimization, managing P&L, and a path to profitability
  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching, tools and support needed by the Directors of Operations, Development and Food Production to manage mid-term and long-term projects to effectively improve recruiting, logistics planning, operational expansion, and harvest
  • Collaborate with the SVP, Commercial on sales performance
  • Communicate staff performance expectations by evaluating performance, providing timely feedback, training and coaching, and recommending personnel actions for assigned staff. Hire, develop, mentor and retain top talent. Ensure compliance with policies, safety procedures, and fair employment practices
  • Regularly report to senior management at HQ and prepare and present mid-year and end-year reports on progress made 
  • Responsibilities likely to adjust with company and team growth

Requirements 

  • Master's degree in Business or a related field preferred 
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience with a focus on operations or development experience managing multiple locations, preferably in a start-up environment 
  • Experience scaling up business with physical locations preferred
  • Strong financial understanding with experience managing P&L 
  • Experience in leading, developing and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Excellent management and decision-making with very strong process optimization, analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and ability to adjust workload based upon changing priorities. 
  • Ability to develop, implement, and manage new processes 
  • Impeccable character and role model, steward of the company brand 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally including driving a car
