Job Description
AECOM is looking for a Quality Coordinator. Reporting to the Quality Lead (Construction), supporting the Project Quality Lead by preparing, organizing, and maintaining quality-related documentation, such as inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
This is a 12-month temporary contract position with the potential for extension, based at a client site
Role Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate on-site inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and construction activities.
- Assist in identifying and documenting any deviations from quality standards, supporting the Quality Lead in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Track the status of non-conformance issues and follow up on resolutions to support continuous quality improvement
- Potentially provide support to the Quality Lead (Corporate) on internal and external quality audit preparation, implementation and reporting
- Technically supervises quality projects or major phases of significant quality projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned project.
- Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge to the completion of significant quality assignments.
- Develops and applies advanced quality assurance/control theories, as well as research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems on the forefront of new technologies.
- Analyzes, evaluates and plans methods of approach, as well as organizes means to achieve solution of complex technical problems.
- Reviews project process and evaluate results.
- Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
- Makes frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment.
- Conducts investigations and tests that are of considerable complexity.
- Provides technical consultation to lower level engineers, technicians and inspectors.
