Job Description
As a Project Controls Analyst, the candidate will be involved in several projects and project teams at the same time, at various stages of the projects’ lifecycle, from inception through close-out, varying in complexity and value.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Reviews purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures; maintains tracking database to ensure that funding is aligned with work authorization and expenditures.
- Review and advise on uncommitted balances.
- Review and advise on contingency balances.
- Review vendor invoices / applications for payment
- Lead the change control process.
- Project financial close-out
- Evaluate productivity versus budget limitations including preparation of variance analysis.
- Compares actual cost to funding limitations; prepares expenditure forecasts to identify critical points in project funding.
- Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated cost trending / forecasting.
- Review and update monthly project schedules.
- Participates in and may lead project cost and schedule review meetings.
- Assists in procedure development and implementation.
- Conduct periodic construction project site visits to monitor project progress and assure progress schedule integrity and participate in regular progress schedule meetings with construction team.
