Role Overview

We’re seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help grow our digital presence and engage with our audience across various platforms. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing, all within the sustainability space.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and managing content for Instagram (715k followers), Facebook (50k followers), TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms

• Develop engaging posts, stories, and videos to educate and inspire our audience about waste reduction and sustainability

• Research and implement best practices for increasing engagement and audience growth

• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to align with viral content related to sustainability

• Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and fostering community discussions

• Analyze performance metrics and suggest strategies for improvement

• Collaborate with the team on campaign ideas and brand storytelling

Qualifications

• Passion for sustainability and environmental issues

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends

• Experience with content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or CapCut (preferred but not required)

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting

• Familiarity with social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite) is a plus
