Job Summary: This position is responsible for electronics development and execution for the next generation product utilizing Clarios Advanced technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive or new energy industries, with expertise in electronics and electrical design, simulation, and validation processes.
This position is sitting in China, serving global product development and business growth.
Report to: Chief Engineer
Key Job Responsibilities:
· Lead the schematic design and PCB layout for low-voltage battery management systems (BMS), power distribution units (PDU), and electronic control units (ECU).
· Develop robust power electronics circuits for DC/DC converters, voltage regulators, and protection modules.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, testing) to integrate electronic systems into vehicle platforms.
· Design and execute validation plans for functional safety (ISO 26262), EMI/EMC compliance, and environmental testing (thermal, vibration).
· Perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues during prototype and production phases.
· Use SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or PLECS for circuit simulation, thermal analysis, and system behavior prediction.
· Generate detailed design specifications, test reports, and DFMEA documents.
· Optimize designs for cost, reliability, and manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
· Collaborate with stakeholders in CTO office, global product line, business development and corporate strategy as to jointly develop the leading technology in the market.

Education/Professional Knowledge
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
· 5~8 years in automotive electronics design, with a focus on low-voltage systems (12V/24/48V).
· Proven track record in delivering at least 2 full lifecycle projects (design to production) for battery packs, PDUs, or ECUs/Zonal Controllers
· Proficiency in Altium Designer/Cadence Allegro for PCB design.
· Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, battery cyclers).
· Advanced skills in circuit simulation (LTspice, PSpice), thermal analysis (ANSYS), and system modeling.
· Deep understanding of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and automotive EMC requirements.
· Familiarity with embedded C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems (optional but preferred).
· Excellent Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills for cross-functional and global team collaboration.
