The Social Safeguard Specialist will lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of social safeguard measures in a water supply project. Key responsibilities include overseeing social impact assessments, preparing and implementing Resettlement Action Plans (RAP), ensuring stakeholder engagement, managing grievance redress mechanisms, and ensuring compliance with national and international safeguard policies.
Master’s in Social Work, Sociology, or related discipline
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects
Proven expertise in resettlement, social impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement
Strong knowledge of World Bank/ADB safeguard frameworks
Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills
