Software Development Engineer (temporary pos)

A Software Developer Engineer (SDE) is a key professional in the development, design, and maintenance of applications and computer systems. This role requires strong programming skills, requirements analysis, software design, testing, and deploymnet of technological solutions that meet user and organizational needs.

The SDE collaborates closely with other development team members, such as software architects, designers, and testers, to build scalable, efficient, and secure applications. They must also be capable of identifying and solving complex techcnical problems, optimizaing performance, and ensuring the high availability and reliability of the developed software.

• Communicate with Software Architectss, Systems Engineering and product management to understand and implement requirements

• Create applications using the .NET Framework, C# 

• Work with teams in an Agil Scrum environment to build software in a rapid interative way

• Respond quickly to changes in requirements

• Assist with testing software in a live environment

• Provide detailed & accurate estimates for code development efforts

• Support and adhere to Company's Code of Conduct and Ethis Policy

• Perform other duties as assigned or required

• To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

Required Skills:

• OO Programming Concepts

• High-Level Language exposure (Preferably C#)

• Ability to work with a team

• Communication skills imperative, English 70%

• ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

• Experience developing and deploying industrial grade software applications

• Well knowledge of standard business software products (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows, etc.)

• Planning and organization

• Problem solving

• Attention to detail

• Seld-directed and highly motivated

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contract documentation, and Governement/industry standards and specifications

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics systems, Mechatronics or similar. A combination of education and experience may be considered

• 1-2 years experience in Software Engineering

• Experience with C# or equivalent experience in other High Level OOP code base (Java, C++)
