Position Overview:
The Junior Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for numbers, strong attention to detail, and an interest in working in a high-tech, innovative environment.
Essential Functions
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) tracking specific to manufacturing operations
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Help maintain the fixed asset register and assist with depreciation calculations
- Assist with audits and preparation of supporting schedules
- Maintain organized financial records in accordance with company policies and GAAP
- Participate in special projects, such as ERP implementation or financial system enhancements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships or co-op experience welcome)
- Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting procedures
- Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus
- Interest in manufacturing or tech environments
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Work Environment
- This position is based in an office environment within our headquarters or regional office
- Standard Monday–Friday business hours, with occasional flexibility during month-end or project deadlines
- Frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and scanners
- Regular collaboration with other teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering
- May involve occasional visits to the manufacturing floor to support inventory or audit-related tasks (safety protocols and PPE provided)

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this full-time position is between $80,000 and $95,000. This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position in the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience, job-related skills, related education, work location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. In addition to a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and equity program, as applicable.
