Senior Service Engineer

Responsibilities / Tasks

Independent project coordination (pro rata)

• Planning and implementation of internal service projects
• Schedule creation, preparatory work processes, material, milestones, communication, work processes and on-site assignments, deadline tracking
• Internal contact person regarding deadlines and resources
• Clarification of technical issues or queries with specialist departments and suppliers

 Cooperation and coordination in the creation of customer-specific spare parts lists (FD + ALUS)

• Independent preparation of customer-specific spare parts lists based on design data
• Creation of risk analyses
• Definition of spare parts alternatives in collaboration with the design department
• Creation of maintenance packages in collaboration with service technicians
• Acceptance of spare parts inquiries in the event of ambiguous identification
• Technical queries regarding individual components or spare parts packages
• Creation of maintenance spare parts lists
• Creation of maintenance documentation
• Creation of lists for handling obsolete parts management

Cooperation and occasional coordination in the preparation of quotations for services and materials

• Calculation and preparation of service-relevant offers (service and material offers)
• Gathering key technical data for preparing quotations, if necessary, in collaboration with the relevant specialist departments
• Sending and following up / processing quotations, timely follow-up
• Coordinating the development of spare parts alternatives by the specialist departments
• Maintenance of article master data via the ITEM master (pro rata)

Communication with suppliers and forwarding agents

• Independent communication with suppliers in English.
• Acceptance and processing or forwarding of complaints regarding service projects (pro rata).

Independent processing of obsolete parts management orders

• Coordination with the purchasing department
• Cooperation with suppliers in English
• Cooperation with engineering regarding follow up material

Degree in Mechanical Engineer
