The Project & Opportunity:
To support growth in the Wilton area, Sydney Water will stage the delivery of essential drinking water, recycled water and wastewater infrastructure services as part of the Wilton New Town project.
For this project, we are looking for a Surveillance Officer to oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring contractor activities and verifying adherence to project requirements.
Conducting safety and environmental assessments.
Maintaining detailed records of site inspections, including photographs.
Reporting on contractor performance and identifying non-conformance issues.
Assisting project managers with surveillance planning for quality, safety, and environmental management.
Required Skills and Competencies
Hands-on experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) and environmental regulations.
White Card.
