About the Job
Over the years, Smardt has developed a suite of internal web, .NET-based, applications.
Reporting to the ERP Manager as part of the Group IT VP (CIO), The .NET Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining said applications using the .NET framework. This person will act as part of a team who is responsible of the global applications for Smardt.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web development technologies, knowledge of integration services, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interact directly with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the IT team, but also the users and different stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and resolve technical issues, provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.
Improve the actual applications with new or revised functionalities according to user requests
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET).
Engage with users to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
Observe best practices and security rules on all deliveries. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards across all data processes.
Collaborate with the internal business analyst to produce documentation and training materials
Qualifications
5+ years of experience working with .NET (or C#).
Proven experience as a Developer
Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular/React).
Experience with Auzre SQL Server and database design.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, TFS).
Knowledge of SQL queries & Microsoft SQL Server are a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
