This position will be a temporary assignment with terms agreed to upon selection.
Responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products. Primary responsibilities include coordinating with multiple internal parties to collect information and combine documents to prepare multiple types of contracts. Preference will be given to a strong attention to detail, previous experience managing contracts, and familiar general contract terms.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare and revise various contracts that involve the purchase of sale of goods and services.
Liaising between parties regarding contract development, and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.
Review and update existing contracts as needed
Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties
Coordinate with the accounting and legal departments as needed
Maintain organized system of primarily digital records
Track authorizations and correspondence.
Maintain files for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status.
Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy.
Collaborating with internal procurement, legal, accounting and engineering teams to ensure contracts' compliance.
Sharing and clarifying contract processes, conditions and details with management, business partners and employees.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
Detailed – ability to demonstrate patience and determination to generate consistently exceptional and standardized work product without errors
Organization skills – strong organization skills to compile multiple documents concurrently while maintaining accuracy
Time management – ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure most critical deadlines are met
Teamwork – ability to work closely with other departments and external partners while maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor
Communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and external partners
Computer knowledge – Proficient, if not moderately advanced, in Word, Excel, pdf modification, and Outlook
Familiarity with accounting procedures
Excellent writing skills
Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
High School Diploma or GED
Three years of office/clerical experience or equivalent
Ability to keyboard 50-60 wpm accurately
Word processing and/or data entry skills
Proficient in English verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
Reliability, dependability and flexibility

Compensation Range:
$25.00 - $31.25
