Electrical Engineering V

We are seeking for an experienced Electrical Engineer V to join our Electrical Engineering team in Bogota, Colombia. This role will be pivotal in designing electrical circuits, systems, and equipment, with a particular focus on power systems, electric service and supply systems, and lighting systems.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Electrical Installations Design: Designing, planning and coordinating electrical 

• systems for various types of infrastructure. 

• Electrical Calculations: Perform detailed electrical calculations for installations 

• such as power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, and electrical 

• studies. 

• Specialized Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical input for studies, 

• designs, and technical assessments within the electrical engineering field. 

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary project reviews to 

• ensure cohesive and fully integrated designs. 

• Quality Control: Conduct quality control reviews of electrical designs, calculations, 

• and drawings to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability. 

• Technical Specifications: Prepare and manage technical specification sections 

• related to electrical systems, ensuring they meet project requirements. Budget and 

• Schedule Management: Assist in the preparation of engineering budgets and 

• schedules to align with project goal 

• Lead designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, construction 

• specifications, and final working drawings. 

• Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.

• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

• Approves and signs off on work.

• Presents complex technical solutions to clients.

• Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.

• Participates in development of technical proposals.

• Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

• Lead a team of Modelers and Electrical Engineers.

• Guarantee the quality of the deliveries of the electrical team area.

• Manages the relation and communications with the client.
