Project Controller (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Financial Planning & Control:

  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and forecasts

  • Track project costs and ensure compliance with financial guidelines

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions

• Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and present financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key project financials to stakeholders

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis to optimize project profitability

• Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, contracts, and external regulations

  • Assist in audits and financial reviews related to renewable energy projects

• Project Coordination & Support:

  • Work closely with project managers to align financial planning with project execution

  • Support contract and procurement negotiations from a financial perspective

  • Monitor key project performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust plans as necessary

Your profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering

• Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or Finance certifications (CMA, CPA) are a plus

• 1-3 years in project control, financial analysis, or project management

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and risk management

• Background in construction, engineering or renewable energies projects

• Financial & Cost Control – Ability to manage budgets, track costs, and ensure projects stay within financial limits

• Scheduling & Planning – Proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project)

• Data Analysis & Reporting – Strong Excel skills or Power BI

• Communication & Collaboration – You work well with project managers, finance teams, and stakeholders

• Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail – You can identify risks early and propose solutions

• Understanding of contract management, procurement, and regulatory compliance

• Experience with project methodologies like Agile or Waterfall is beneficial

• Fluency in German and English is mandatory
