Overview
Califia Farms is seeking a seasoned, highly motivated Project Manager to support our high-performing in-house creative team. This role will manage projects for a core team of creative professionals across Copywriting, Design, and Video/Photography, including coordination with our internal Photo Studio. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, is passionate about bringing clarity to complex projects, and can drive multiple projects forward at a time, big and small. The Project Manager is someone who is genuinely excited about the details, excels at orchestrating projects that span multiple departments, and is energized by creative collaboration.
This hybrid role works in the Downtown LA Arts District office Tuesday through Thursday and reports to the Global Creative Director.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
Own the end-to-end delivery of complex creative projects across copywriting, design, video, photography, and studio teams
Develop and manage detailed project timelines, milestones, and interdependent workflows across stakeholders and product portfolios. Must be able to manage multiple projects at once
Translate business and brand strategy into deadline-driven project plans
Lead effective meetings including kickoffs, check-ins, reviews, and retrospectives—owning agendas, timekeeping, notes, and next steps
Maintain accurate project data in management tools and ensure processes remain efficient, repeatable, and scalable
Proactive Planning & Problem Solving
Anticipate and identify risks, dependencies, and blockers before they surface
Proactively problem-solve and course-correct in real time to keep projects moving forward
Guide teams through ambiguity with confidence and agility
Consistently track team capacity to ensure proper resource planning.
Manage and maintain a 12-month rolling project calendar, ensuring timely input and accountability across various global departments
Stakeholder Communication & Accountability
Act as the central communication hub between creative teams and cross-functional partners (e.g., marketing, brand, sales, external vendors)
Streamline information flow to ensure alignment, clarity, and accountability at every stage
Provide clear status updates and summaries to stakeholders and executive sponsors
Team Support & Culture Stewardship
Foster a collaborative, high-morale team environment, even under pressure
Navigate personalities and workloads with emotional intelligence and empathy
Promote a process that supports creativity while ensuring operational rigor
Qualifications
4-7+ years of consumer packaged goods project management experience, ideally within a creative agency or in-house environment
Proven success managing cross-functional creative projects, including copywriting, design, video, photography, and studio workflows
Strong command of core project management skills including scoping, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and retrospectives
Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset for gathering and directing information
Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to motivate teams and stay composed under pressure
Monday.com is the current platform, but alternative options are open for consideration provided you demonstrate exceptional mastery of preferred tool and ability to lead adoption, optimize workflows, and train others with confidence
Skilled at anticipating issues and solving problems proactively and on the fly
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards
Effective meeting facilitator who drives agendas, manages time, documents decisions, and ensures follow-up
Strategic thinker with curiosity about the business context and creative impact
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus

The expected salary range for this position is between $110,000 - $125,000 per year based on a full-time schedule. Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting the actual salary. As a full-time employee, you will be eligible to enroll in Califia’s employee benefits program. You may also be eligible to participate in the company’s bonus program which may be subject to change.
