This position requires an experienced professional responsible for the design and development of the body-in-white of a world-class vehicle in terms of styling and function</p><p><strong>Your Role</strong></p><ul><li>Create and develop innovative Body in White (BIW) components in aluminum and/or steel to achieve best-in-class vehicle packaging, weight, cost, Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) and crash performance.</li><li>Work closely with CAE and vehicle testing teams to interpret and use analysis results to guide and evolve the design.</li><li>Work with manufacturing to ensure efficient buildable designs.</li><li>Deliver best-in-class craftmanship and fit/finish.</li><li>Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Educational background in mechanical engineering or equivalent. Specialization in automotive engineering is preferred.</li><li>Expertise in vehicle body-in-white design. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in Catia V5/V6 and a good knowledge of GD&amp;T is required.</li><li>Proven ability to integrate state-of-the-art design and manufacturing methods into product design.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with achieving excellence as core principle.</li><li>Experience in complete vehicle development life cycle - from concept to SOP is required.
